ANOTHER DAY AFTER A HOLIDAY!!

Yesterday was a beautiful peaceful day in the neighborhood and the parade was great. I am just amazed at the things that my kids can do. Patti and Bill traveled to Las Vegas (I guess because it isn't hot enough here) but before they left after painting my bathroom, taking me shopping for things to make our bathrooms more people friendly, cleaned and polished, then went to Penni's to finish the new Gazebo. I can't believe how hard they worked and all I could do was just watch it happen.

Wendall's bathroom wasn't painted yet and I just figured the blue tape around the mirror and on the floor was a promise that it would be done sometime - well the girls painted and put everything back and then put the new shower curtain up and all of this before they went to finish penni's Gazebo which is really a beautiful addition.

Wendall loves the color of burgundy so this was the color he was going to have to add to his bathroom. The girls just wouldn't settle for anything except what he had asked for in color. All of this is making decisions and I am a mess of indecision and it gives me a headache even to think about. The bottom line is Wendall is just absolutely thrilled with the color the only problem he is going to have to drag an old towel out to use because the towels hanging are for looks . It is fun to hear him comment on this. The girls piled stuff in my basket while we are shopping and I am just following them. What an experience that was. Well as I told you Pat and Bill went to Las Vegas and Penni invited us over to break in her new addition (Gazebo). If I do sometime get pictures I will post them because the color is beautiful especially in the hall bathroom. Just one more thing to add is that we just can't get the shower curtain (the outer one) wet because it says dry clean only isn't that a hoot. This was a burst to help the economy so this makes me very happy. All of this in the day and life of MEEEEEEE!!

Grams, you are so funny! I think I say this everytime, but it's true. I haven't seen the gazebo yet but I'm excited to see pictures when someone posts them. (BTW=) By the way, do you like your new addition to your blog- where it tells you when someone posted last? I thought I would be like my mom and help you update. (smile) Hope you like it. I also added, crystal & Nikkole, kelly and Megan & Devons Mormon factor. I hope that was alright. (smile)

Sure love ya. I'm glad that Mom and Patti helped you paint. It reminds me of when we redid your downstairs room. Painted and added new carpet...my choice of colors..( Little did we know that dark green showed more stuffon the carpet needing to be vacuumed than regular carpet) But I liked the Hunter green anyway. (smile)

What exciting changes. I especially like the "dry clean only" shower curtain. Way to support the economy. Now I need to come and see what you've done!

I can't wait to see these changes. I'm glad you're hanging in there and getting it all done. I can see you guys shopping and Penni and Patti just putting things in your shopping cart. I can't believe they even make "dry clean only" shower curtains! I guess that's for people who never use the shower.

OH MOM you make me laugh. What would we do without you!! We had so much fun painting and especially shopping. No time for long decisions. Who knew they made dry clean only shower curtains Good thing it comes with a liner huh. Wendall will enjoy his bathroom with his favorite color. Use the towels they wash. The shower curtain won't melt either. These are memories that I will hug to me for a long time. Probably forever. Its fun to laugh and work. My favorite thing is to shop. We wanted to put you in the cart and run through the isles. Your deck is next right? Oh and painting the garage and shutters. Love you lots!! YOu truly are the best. I only wish Diane was with us.

Hey Grandma, I've got a favor to ask of you and Grandpa. Maybe you'll have time to do it, maybe not. I need you to take a picture of grandpa wearing a cool preisthood-looking, Jesus-style robe of some sort. I want him looking as though he is watching someone kneel and pray and he is standing behind them and reaching out to them. I'm entering an LDS art contest. I'm asking Bob and Michael and Devon and Joe and Paul and Dan and Justin and several others to do the same thing. Best picture will be used. Tell grandpa to look all wise and knowing and stuff-k (not that that will be hard for him huh). Hope you've both got the time for such a silly and weird request. Thanks either way. Love ya. Later Oh, and my deadline is Oct 10, so the sooner the better. Thanks again.
